Are you more anime or more manga?

I have a MAL account so I don't have to think about it.

My anime = 48.5 Days (60%)
My manga = 32.1 Days (40%)

I'm more of an anime person.

Mostly anime but I do have a decent collection of manga
DVD and Bluray are all I have left, my VHS tapes have long since been lost and very few anime were released on laserdisc in NA so I never bothered with collecting those

I used to think manga was ridiculous and a waste of time considering you could get the same input from anime but in a shorter time frame, with more fluid action. Then I fell down the rabbit hole of reading manga

In some cases manga is the better option like Rurouni Kenshin, the anime was ruined by filler episodes and never got the final story arc of the manga

The Ah My Goddess anime will never get the rest of the story from the manga either

That's sort of how I feel about Sailor Moon. The manga is the superior, concise story-telling that I love. The anime adaptation did too much "monster of the week" filler to drag it out. Still lots to enjoy about the original anime but the Crystal version is so much better. Trying to capitalize on manga series before they are complete is just something I wish the industry would stop doing.

I only watched a little of Sailor Moon when Cartoon Network aired it years ago, man that had bizarre censorship like Sailor Moon in a bath tub with colored water making it like like she's taking a mud bath

Mi preferencia sería por el Manga. Me gusta mucho el Anime, es muy agradable de ver con, por supuesto, personajes en movimiento con música y ruidos que pueden dar un buen ambiente. Pero varias cosas me molestan, ya el doblaje de las voces es en mi opinión muy malo, y esto en la mayoría de los Mangas aunque algunos sean excepciones. Así que prefiero verlos en Versión Original. Pero eso no es todo, como han dicho algunos más arriba, hay algunas censuras largas y abusivas y eso no me gusta... Yo prefiero leer manga, ya si quieres tener una serie es más barato, no tienes que lidiar con la longitud innecesaria que añaden algunos animes, puedes descubrir una serie a tu ritmo leyendo, etc. Seguro que te tiene que gustar la lectura. Es mi caso y creo que el de la mayoría de vosotros también, sino no estaríais en este foro. ¡También estoy cursando japonés para leer manga en japonés! Al final, aunque haya algunos animes estupendos, prefiero leer el manga.

I recommend reading the manga Pandora Hearts, and I would also recommend that you watch the anime, which is quite wonderful. Its lack of popularity is most likely due to the poorer animation quality and the fact that it just scrapes the surface of the manga's complete narrative. The music, in my opinion, is genuinely amazing, thus I'd definitely recommend at the very least listening to the ost.
